Site Usage - This site is intended for residents of the United Kingdom who wish to participate in, or obtain information about, the events organised by Nidderdale Messiah.

Status of Nidderdale Messiah - We are a small voluntary body established to raise charitable funds through audience participation in musical performances. We have no permanent staff or premises, we are run by a small number of volunteers working from home donating their own time to keep the project operating.

Financial Status - We have no external funding. We are authorised by, and collect monies as agent of, the designated charities. The funds collected at each event are passed to the designated charity for that event, after settling small incidental expenses and making a donation to the church or organisation hosting the event.

Gift Aid - Sadly the basic cost (being the cost of a ticket covering little more than the cost of staging the event) cannot be gift-aided (i.e. the designated charity cannot recover tax on this sum), but every other donation can be gift-aided enabling the value of your donation to be greater. We make it clear on all booking forms which element of your payment is covering basic costs and which element may be processed by the designated charity for Gift Aid.

Privacy Policy - We collect name and contact details when submitted solely for the distribution of booking forms and tickets for Nidderdale Messiah events, currently held only once each year. Such information is stored and managed in the UK. With the exception of details you may submit for Gift Aid purposes, which are passed solely to the designated charity for the event that you attend, we do not pass data collected to any other person or organisation.
