We are delighted to be able to tell you that the ninth annual Nidderdale Messiah will take place this year on
Sunday 18th November 2012 at Pateley Methodist Church, Pateley Bridge.

This year we support Ripon Community Link www.riponcommunitylink.org.uk) and look forward to welcoming you to the Methodist Church in Pateley Bridge. In the meantime it is never too early to make donations, to sponsor or to book advertising in the programme. As ever, every penny you give will go directly to Ripon Community Link with the exception of a donation to our host venue, any soloists’ travel expenses and very occasional minimal sundries.

ATTENDING

It is most important that those who are singing arrive at 12:40 to ensure that the rehearsal can start promptly at 13:00.
The performance itself will commence at 15:30. We are very grateful to the church catering team who will be providing refreshments between the rehearsal and the performance at 15:30.

As a singer you will need to bring your own copy of either the Prout or the Watkins Shaw editions of Messiah. We are not a formally constituted music or choral society and cannot provide a score.

If you can sing Messiah or are keen to have a good try, can watch the conductor like a hawk, you will be most welcome. The ticket price is £12.00 (which cannot be gift-aided), but your additional donation (which can be gift-aided) towards this year's very worthy cause will be very much appreciated.  For planning purposes it is important that you pre-register (as singer or audience)  with your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number(s) and which voice you sing  by completing the Booking Form, which can be downloaded and printed from this site or which can be provided upon request to the organisers using the Contacts page. Please send completed forms to us by post.  We ask that you provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope in which we will forward your tickets (or return your money in the event of overbooking or force majeur). Please book promptly as it was with sadness that we have turned people away in previous years.

If you would like to listen, audience tickets will be available by following the same procedure.

AND FINALLY....

We do hope that you will feel able to give generously so that we can well and truly beat our efforts of previous years.  Gift-aid envelopes will be available for those that wish to make donations on the day, and you may include a donation when purchasing your ticket.  We look forward to welcoming you to another excellent event.  Hopefully we will all bring our best singing voices to herald the Christmas season and once again raise a significant amount for a very worthwhile cause.
